The kinds of personal information we collect and hold
Mimosa Partners works with clients to help them understand their customers. As part of these services, we conduct research with customers that may include interviews and/or surveys with customers. As part of the research we may collect general identifying information however this is largely for the purpose of contacting participants involved in the research. When it comes to reporting research findings to our clients, participants are de-identified and patterns and themes are reported only, unless consent is specifically granted by the participant.

If you are interviewed or complete a survey being run by Mimosa Partners, all information you provide is voluntary. It may also include your name, age, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, occupation and other details about you. You can choose not to answer any of our questions or not to give us any of these details.

How we collect and hold personal information
We collect participant personal information when you give it to us whether through online, over the phone or face-to-face interactions. We may also collect personal information about you provided by our clients for research purposes: in these instances, we ensure you have provided your consent for your personal information to be provided to us.

We hold your personal information on secure servers in Australia. All customers information obtained from our clients is used strictly for the purpose of the specific project it is provided for and nothing else. Such lists are destroyed at our end once the project is wrapped up. Depending on the nature of the project, it may be required to keep this information on our secure server in Australia for up to 12 months but will not be kept any longer than that.

The purposes for which we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information
The primary purpose for which we collect, hold and use your personal information is to conduct research on behalf of clients. We may also collect, hold and use your personal information in order to respond to your enquiries. We report the results of our research without identifying any individual (unless that individual expressly consents).

We do not disclose your personal information without your consent, except to our own employees (contractors) and subject to this Privacy Policy, or if required by law. The only time we may ask for consent to disclose your information is if clients express the desire to contact customers based on their research answers to discuss elements of your responses. This will only happen if you give consent as part of the research in question.
